Hi, I'm Jess — or Jessica if we're being formal.

I'm a Senior Product Designer based in Singapore, originally from Indonesia. I moved here 11 years ago, studied art and design, started as a graphic designer, and slowly made my way into product. For the past 6 years I've been building things I genuinely care about — from design tools to government platforms to growth systems that help businesses scale.

I've had the privilege of working at some places I'm really proud of. At Figma, I was the first Designer Advocate in APAC, working with design teams across APAC and ANZ to help them collaborate and design better, while working closely with internal product teams to ship features that improved how designers and developers work together. At Meta, I designed support experiences for Instagram advertisers and creators across the Business & Creator Support team. Before that, I helped build app.sync.gov.sg at Open Government Products — a COVID-19 health verification platform that served 160K+ users in four months.

These days I'm at Employment Hero, leading growth design and helping businesses convert from free to paid on their own terms. It's the role where I've gone deepest on AI — designing AI-powered features, automating parts of the design process, and exploring how generative tools can close the gap between design and implementation.

Outside of the day job, I like noodling with AI — this website was built with Claude Code and Figma MCP.
